Clubbing Makeup

Just some makeup I did on myself when I went out clubbing a few months ago;

Halloween

This Halloween I made my own costume;

Snow White !

But with a little twist ~

I did all the makeup and special effects myself too ~

And styled this wig, not extremely well, but originally it is a long, curly wig with a short, straight fringe.

This is my best friend, I did the special effects makeup for her too !

Here's a little eye makeup I did a while ago too;

And in class a few weeks ago I drew a pineapple;

More Texture

For these I laid a piece of paper over a few different things like metal, netting, leaves and shells and rubbed my pencil over them, when I saw images forming I made them really look like what I was seeing by making stronger lines, still over the textured surfaces.

Texture

I drew these with coloured pencils and then edited them a bit in photoshop.

Edited Transfers

Transferring

Today I printed out a few of my own images, just random stuff, and then used a citrus cleaner spray to transfer them from one piece of paper to another to create a textured collage ~
I still have to edit it and make it into 6 cards, but here it is, scanned...raw ?

Repeat patterns

For this one, I had to draw on a piece of paper with a fine liner, not touching the edges at all, then cut up the paper and make it so the drawing is in the corners, then I had to draw more to fill up the rest of the paper. I then scanned it, coloured it in in Photoshop, and here it is !

And here's another I drew in Photoshop with my tablet, it's for wrapping paper, so I had that in mind when drawing it.

Here's the two designs printed out and wrapped around some boxes like presents ~

Even More Recent Work

A painting of a pear done in acrylic on canvas;

Afterwards a friend said it looks like the forever alone face......so true.

Hair, make-up, photography and editing;

I've never really done much photography at all, so I'm not at all an expert or anything, but my good friend asked me to do these for her vintage shop, as she doesn't seem to have any other friends that like this kind of thing. You can see her shop with more of my photos here: http://www.seizethevintage.com (currently under construction)

In class the teacher wrapped stripey material around a mannequin head, we were then told to draw only the lines, and nothing else, here's what I ended up with, plus a little photoshop to make it all black and white, my work can get pretty messy with grey lead smudges everywhere !

A sketch of a shoe, in real life this thing is huge !

A painting, done with oil on canvas;
